The Galleys are In

The galleys are in. It is such a rare and satisfying pleasure to work with someone who sets deadlines, meets them, and holds you up to them. In other words, the experience of being managed is awesome. So many of us creative types spend our days constantly looking for the next opportunity, sending out cold pitches, keeping our own discipline and maintaining creative practices, self-scheduling, self-motivating, self-rewarding, self-everything. When you get a break from it, it’s great!
