About
Animals, arguably, were the first subject of human art. Whether cute, fast, furry, or ferocious they have captured our creative imagination for as long as we humans could possibly claim to have had one. I don’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t drawing dogs, having a dog, or begging for a dog. Later came horses. And finally, here is Hound: The Art of the Dog. This blog has begun as my web identity as a purveyor of canine and equestrian art. I must expand, though, as I find the cynical (that’s with a “k” in the original Greek) philosophy a compelling guide through human life. Enjoy.
